Since its inception, Qesati has made a remarkable impact by hosting diverse guest speakers who enrich our community. Our events and workshops foster connections and collaboration, while partnerships with various entities expand our reach. Through interactive storytelling on key social issues and featuring speakers from various fields, we continue to inspire meaningful change.
We’re excited to invite you to a very special workshop that’s a little different from our usual storytelling sessions.
This time, we’ll be exploring stories through hand-printed textiles with Carolina Cerna, who will share her journey and how she blends her Peruvian background with influences from the Arab world to create pieces that tell stories through pattern, color, and design.
We’ll get to know Carolina’s story, reflect on our own, and experiment with turning our personalities, memories, and experiences into prints on fabric. It’ll be a space to create, chat, connect, and explore our identities in a different way.
The workshop is beginner-friendly, and all materials are included.

Most of our sessions are free, but a few workshops might have a small fee to support the facilitators and event costs. You'll find the specific pricing details next to each event.
Everyone is welcome —regardless of your background or experience. We want to make sure everyone feels included and heard. If there's an age limit, we’ll be sure to mention it.
Absolutely! We love when participants share their own experiences. Some events feature open-mic storytelling or Q&A sessions, giving you a chance to speak up and share your voice.
